The frequency stability problems faced by multi-infeed high voltage direct current(HVDC)receiving-end grids and the technical status of related control systems are analyzed. The major design ideas of frequency emergency coordination control system are also elaborated
viz
coordinating and utilizing multi DC power emergency assistance
shedding pump working condition unit and cutting off large-scale interruptible load. Besides
detailed construction schemes of the system are put forward with respect to the overall system framework
the DC fault criterion and the major control strategy. Actual engineering applications and test running effects of this system in the East China power grid are finally described. This work is supported by State Grid Corporation of China.
