power systems are faced with severe wind power consumption and peak-regulation problems due to the uncertainty and counter-load characteristic of wind power. Reciprocal peak-regulation trading of inter-regional grids is an effective way to solve these problems. Based on the reciprocal peak-regulation trading model of inter-regional grids with wind power
the information gap decision theory is adopted to deal with the uncertainty of wind power and the influence of wind power uncertainty on peak-regulation and operation costs is analyzed. The cost variation caused by wind power fluctuation is integrated into the dispatch model and the bi-level optimization problem is transformed into a single-level optimization problem. The modified model considering wind power uncertainty that brings about robustness is proposed. Finally
the simulation results show that the proposed model is better suitable for enhancing the capability of accommodating wind power and reducing the total operation costs.
