The dynamic wireless charging system can significantly reduce the weight and size of electric vehicle(EV)power batteries. Hence it has broad application prospects. A state-space model of dynamic wireless EV charging system is developed first based on the segmented multi-track scheme. Also
a system small-signal model is obtained to describe the dynamic characteristics. Then
with the help of an experimental platform and the actual values of system variables
dynamic changes in system output power and efficiency are analyzed in the dynamic charging process. Furthermore
the transient characteristics in the track switch-on process are investigated
as is the influence of switching position. Meanwhile
experiments are conducted to verify the proposed model and analysis conclusions. This work is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China(No. 51507168)
