Partitioning for reactive power-voltage control is the foundation of voltage hierarchical control. The operation states of system fluctuate stochastically because of large scale wind farm integration. To get stable partition suitable for all sorts of wind farm output situations
the mathematical expectation of electric distance between all nodes in the grid is taken as the basis for partition
and the advanced affinity propagation(AP)method is used as the core algorithm. As the response process of the PV nodes is different from that of the PQ nodes
first partition all the PQ nodes based on the AP method. Then take all the PV nodes as target domain and divide them into the suitable PQ cluster on the premise in connectivity and controllability to achieve the final grid partitioning. Finally
define the partition quality evaluation indicators to assess the partitioning results considering segregation property among clusters
decoupling property in cluster and voltage controlling ability. Simulation results indicate the feasibility and effectiveness of the method proposed. This work is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China(No. 51177091).
