While supplying terminal user directly with clean energy
household distributed power generation may cause power imbalance and power quality problems presumably due to its two-way power flow and intermittent power supply. Therefore
based on the active response capability of the load in smart distribution network
promotion of local accommodation of distributed power generation while ensuring its reliable power supply should be specially investigated. First
a user-side energy management system is presented. Then
load state probability matrix of the residents is proposed considering the users’ intention and behavior habits
and a probability model representing the users’ electricity consumption is developed
and active load demand response strategies are proposed with the objective of maximizing local consumption of distributed generation. Finally
Monte Carlo simulation is utilized to simulate the behavior of users’ electricity consumption. Simulation results of a case in point show that rational demand response strategies can effectively promote local consumption of distributed generation
while bettering the load curves and benefiting both the physical power grid and many other aspects. This work is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 51577030).
