An active distribution network (ADN) actively implements the bi-directional power flow by the rational dispatch of the distributed generator (DG) and energy storage system (ESS)
so that the intermittent energy consumption capability is improved. An effective monitoring and control system is the key for active control and this paper focuses on the test bed for the active control system. By analyzing the test demand for coordinated control of ADN
the simulation test bed based on DIgSILENT is proposed with the implementation of the interface discussed in detail. With the test sequence confirmed
the effectiveness of the test bed is verified by testing several typical scenarios of the demonstration project site. This work is supported by National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program) (No. 2014AA051902).
