The demand of various distributed systems in the smart grid and clean energy field is analyzed in this paper. According to the engineering and technical characteristics of distributed systems in operation
a new real-time control technology based on point-to-point communication is proposed. Real-time control of the analog sampling module
input/output module and the main processor module is realized based on the point-to-point message communication
which can meet the engineering demand of the distributed system for joint control of scattered module units in different locations. The communication protocol is based on two industrial protocols
and field programmable gate array (FPGA) is used for implementation of the technology as well as detailed testing and analysis. The two kinds of typical devices have been trial run with good results.
