An electrical parameters measuring algorithm amalgamation solution for smart substation multi-function measuring and control devices is proposed. The requirements of remote measurement

synchronized phasor measurement and electrical energy calculations at substation are analyzed. The data sampling and operation processing characteristics of the above three kinds of electrical parameters measurement are compared and the generic techniques are extracted. Such abnormal situations as sample value points lost and asynchronous sample value sequence between channels are fully considered. The three kinds of electrical parameters measurement function are integrated in a single device by amalgamation and optimization. The algorithm amalgamation method proposed is realized in multi-function measuring and control devices in smart substations.
