The coordination optimization and feedback control of medium-short term multi-cycle generation scheduling is used to solve the demand of refined and energy-saving generation scheduling under the open
fair and just power dispatching mode. A multi-cycle generation scheduling optimization model based on the unit utilization rate is developed. The coordination and closed-loop control methods for multi-cycle generation scheduling based on completely periodic unit commitment are proposed. A case study on the multi-cycle generation scheduling of a provincial grid is conducted
and the results show that the proposed method is capable of realizing the energy-saving goal and refined generation scheduling management on the basis of stronger risk control skill and higher scheduling safety margin.
