The current policies for the charging of reactive power around the world are summarized，and the schematic diagram of reactive power adjustment fee is used to compare different charging policies between countries.Several shortcomings of Chinas reactive power pricing policy are found，such as low power factor standard，low penalty for substandard users and long statistical cycle for reactive power.Finally，revising suggestions are proposed，including gradually raising the power factor checking standard to0.95，shortening the reactive power charging circle to half an hour，increasing the power factor charge for unqualified users and cancellation of the power factor reward mechanism.
