A harmonics measurement algorithm based on the non-uniform synchronized oversampling is proposed from integrated circuit design perspective.A probability distribution function of sampling clock frequency at oversampling and down-sampling stages is designed to minimize the impact of non-uniform sampling noise. The final down-sampled data can be treated as uniformly sampled and synchronized data. Thus fast Fourier transform can be directly applied. No extra work of computing is needed. The non-uniform property of the sampling clock simplifies the delay locked loop circuit.Precision improvement of harmonics measurement can be identified by the simulation results.
