Based on a coordinated dispatch model of the electric vehicle(EV) and wind power, the model of CO2 emission reduction benefit is established to analyze CO2 emission reduction both in the power grid and transport sector. CO2 emission factor of thermal power is calculated, and then CO2 emissions under EV charging with and without coordinated dispatch are compared. CO2 emissions of gasoline-powered cars and EVs charged by thermal power, charging with and without coordinated dispatch with wind power are compared through the calculating model of CO2emissions per unit. Taking average CO2 emissions of power grid and per unit of vehicles as measures, the CO2 emission reduction by coordinated dispatch compared to EV charging without coordinated dispatch increases significantly along with the increase of wind power installed capacity. Consequently, coordinated dispatch is an effective means to realize collaborative use of large-scale wind power and EVs.
