In order to effectively and reliably solve the contradiction between massive information gathered from the centralized supervisory control center and limited useful signals, a two-dimensional classifying method of vertical stratification and horizontal classification is proposed. According to this method, the alarm data can be filtered and configured effectively by referring to other attributes of the signals, such as the responsible area and whether an overhaul is needed or not. The signal processing technology of the dynamic alarm window and layered alarm are developed and compared. By adopting the above-mentioned methods and technology, the time for information retrieving is greatly shortened, and supervisory workers' efficiency is improved, while the process of handling abnormality and accident with the electric power network is accelerated. The technology and methods are in application.
