The effects of three types of different assumptions based relationships of the measured parameters and the equivalent circuit parameters including the classical, the approximation-accuracy and the iteration parameter relationships, on parameter transformation are analyzed. Another two types of parameter relationships are derived based on steady-state-frequency-response tests and sudden-short-circuit tests, which are equivalent to iteration parameter relationships, and can be directly and briefly calculated, so it is called direct parameter relationships. At the same time, the parameter transformation results based on the above parameter relationships are applied to the IEEE First Benchmark model for subsynchronous resonance simulation. By investigating the effects of the parameter transformation results on frequency-response characteristics of operational inductances and small-signal stability analysis, the effects of the results of the proposed data translations for synchronous generators on subsynchronous resonance are analyzed.
