By applying the control language IPLAN of PSS/E, this paper presents a strategy to reduce the errors in analyzing low-frequency oscillations raised by the simulation parameter error. The first step of the proposed method is to implement the hybrid simulation in PSS/E with the partial power network replaced by the grounded time-varying admittance, followed by a Prony analysis of transferred power in the tie-line. Finally, the parameter errors are corrected via the relevant technologies of parameter identification and eigenvalue sensitivity. It is shown through an example that the strategy proposed is feasible and correct.
