Accurate load modeling for harmonic analysis is of great importance. With helps of researches on power loads modeling, a new method based on the inherence between voltage and current is presented to identify the load model parameters by approximating current with the best quadratic approximating algorithm. This method is simple, easily operated and nearly suitable for all types of harmonic modeling. A function for error analysis is defined to verify the accuracy of the method proposed. The numerical results of the given examples show a higher accuracy of the proposed technique compared to the previous time-domain load modeling techniques. Hence, the validity and feasibility of the method proposed are identified. Finally, influences of the parameters of voltage and current on the load parameters are investigated.
