An on-line operation order system of fault restoration for regional grid is studied and developed. The demand of the system on-line operation is analyzed

and the main functions of the system and data interface are introduced. Rules of identifying operation task automatically are summarized. Meanwhile

a method of expanding operation task automatically according to the dispatching regulations is researched. The paper focuses on the discussion about three functions

i.e. processing methods of uncharged island

processing of automatic switch-in of stand-by power

and the switch-on and switch-off of line protection. The appropriative system static data and conversion program which can improve reasoning efficiency and is convenient for data maintenance

are designed. This system has already been successfully applied to the Electric Power Network of Lanzhou

capital city of Gansu Province.
