The paper proposes a data acquisition scheme applied to the power line inspection and introduces the composition and working principles of the data acquisition & recording system. In details

it utilizes an external trigger and multi-thread technology to acquire with high-speed and store the data of 3 CCD cameras and the position & orientation system (POS) and meantime makes the images and the POS data correspond to each other real-time by using the dynamic link library (DLL) developed by the acquisition board’s software development kit (SDK).
