A robust planning method for regional integrated energy system(RIES)is proposed in this paper
in which electric/cooling/heating load uncertainties are considered. Based on energy hub(EH)model
a regional IES planning model including combined cooling
heating and power(CCHP)
gas boiler
centralized cooling station is formulated. Several typical daily load curves are obtained by k-means data clustering method based on historical/predicting annual load profile of 8 760 hours. The load uncertainties are described by adaptive upper and lower bounds
thus a robust planning model can be achieved. Furthermore
the model can be equivalently recast as a mixed integer planning model
in which the sub-problem is convex. The case studies demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method
as well as the benefits of IES in optimization and coordinations between multi-energy systems.
