In the existing inductively coupled power transfer(ICPT)system with two-path parallel transmission of fundamental wave and harmonic wave
the electromagnetic couplers of the two path are designed separately
which results in large volume and poor anti-offset characteristics. In order to solve the above problem
this paper proposes an orthogonal DD electromagnetic coupler to realize the electromagnetic decoupling of fundamental energy path and harmonic energy path. Firstly
the decoupling mechanism of the electromagnetic couplers is analyzed. And the structural parameters of the electromagnetic coupler is optimized by using the simulation software Maxwell. Thus an optimal designing scheme is proposed. Then the horizontal and vertical offset degrees of the two-path orthogonal DD electromagnetic coupler are analyzed. Finally
an experimental platform is built to verify the theoretical analysis. The experimental results show that the electromagnetic decoupling between the fundamental energy path and the harmonic energy path can be realized when the offset of electromagnetic coupler is horizontal or vertical. The experimental results verify the feasibility and the anti-offset characteristics of the electromagnetic coupler.
