Energy storage device which is equipped on the user side of distribution network in the new energy power generation intensive access area can be used as the effective complementary for multi-energy comprehensive utilization. It can improve the efficiency of energy systems and meet the user requirements on improving the reliability of power supply. Battery energy storage system(BESS)can absorb or stabilize the new energy power generation fluctuations in the normal operation of the power supply system. Moreover
it can also provide independent power supply for a specific load during certain time in the power supply system failure state. Taking the maximum annual investment return rate of BESS in the distribution network within its whole life cycle as the objective
the optimal allocation of the energy storage system is studied under the premise of ensuring independent power supply for the specific load of the power supply area during certain time. Firstly
the economic benefit model of configuring BESS is established
including four income indicators(such as the income of arbitrage by low storage and high incidence in the whole life cycle of BESS)and the life cycle cost. Then
a method to gradually simplify the optimization model by extracting the key influencing factors is put forward. Finally
the energy storage configurations and annual investment return rate of Pb-C battery
lithium iron phosphate battery and second-use battery are compared through the case studies to ensure one-hour independent power supply for the specific load of the power supply area. The result validates the feasibility of the established model and the proposed algorithm.
