To promote the commercial application of energy storage on the user side
the user-side energy storage is considered from both planning and operation period. A storage energy assessment and optimization scheduling method for industrial large users with demand management and arbitrage is proposed. Firstly
in the assessment stage
the energy storage assessment model is built with the user's minimum overall cost to evaluate the economic benefits of the users and to optimize the energy storage configuration. Secondly
a two-stage optimal storage model is established in the operation period. In the month-ahead optimization
the user's overall cost is minimized to determine the reported demand. Then
in the day-ahead optimization
the maximum arbitrage is utilized as objective function to optimize the charge and discharge power of the storage. Finally
based on CPLEX solver in MATLAB platform
four typical industrial enterprises are chosen as simulation cases to verify the effectiveness of the models. Moreover
a feasible solution for the commercialization of the user-side energy storage battery is provided.
