The increasingly serious situation of frequency stability of power grid needs to coordinate ever-richer frequency response with better methods. On the basis of original security and stability control framework
a control framework of active frequency response associated with related policies is proposed. Its connotation is that
based on more remarkable spatial distribution characteristics of grid frequency
with mature advanced communication technologies
the frequency response methods on “source-grid-load-storage” side are changed from decentralized proportional feedback control based on local parameters to centralized feedforward active control triggered by event or parameters based on parameters at fault point. The control performance of existing devices is given full play and the system overall control capability of frequency stability is improved by optimization and coordination among various frequency response methods. The simulation analysis shows that
the desired effects have been achieved in the proposed ideas and control thought
which provide references for many main bodies to participate in frequency response control.
