In view of the problems in the current feeder automation(FA)
such as over dependence on communication
difficulty in security protection and self-adaption of setting parameters
etc.
an adaptive reclosure FA method is proposed considering the processing of single phase grounding fault. Based on the transient characteristic detection principle of single-phase grounding
the strategies are formulated by tripping after loss of voltage and over current
quick breaking and latching after closing and over current
tripping and latching after short-time power supply. Combined with the substation protection
FA logic is designed to achieve location
isolation and non-fault area power supply restoration of large current fault and single phase grounding fault in multi-branch and multi-contact distribution network based on primary and secondary integrated equipments of distribution network. Finally
a simulation test platform based on the real time digital simulator(RTDS)is built to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
