In the voltage source converter based multi-terminal DC(VSC-MTDC)transmission system which considers the wind power prediction
a multi-objective optimal power flow(OPF)optimization algorithm is executed prior to the VSC-MTDC system to find the optimal reference values for the active power and DC voltages of the voltage-regulating converters. The control coefficient of each converter station is adjusted by referring to the generalized droop control to optimize the control strategy for the converter station in the VSC-MTDC system. At the same time
MATLAB is used to optimize the control strategy of the VSC-MTDC system considering the wind power prediction. By comparison with the results of the OPF algorithm in different cases for the VSC-MTDC system
the effectiveness of the proposed optimization method for control strategy is verified.
