Incentive demand response can guide users to adjust their behavior of electricity and actively participate in load shedding. Meanwhile
distributed generators and energy storage can provide response time for implementation of incentive demand response. This paper focuses on the reliability evaluation of microgrid considering incentive demand response. Firstly
the mechanism of incentive demand response and its impact on reliability are analyzed. Secondly
the dispatch model for microgrid considering comprehensive assessment on customers is developed. Thirdly
the response model at the user side is developed considering the objective of the maximum user's benefit and a load curtailment strategy based on demand response is proposed. Finally
the validity of the above model and method is studied through numerical tests on modified RBTS Bus6 test system. Simulation results demonstrate that the reliability and economy of microgrid can be efficiently enhanced by incentive demand response.
