Considering there are multiple distributed power sources in the microgrid
different control methods are needed for different types of distributed power supply to realize different coordinated control strategies. Based on the traditional droop control to be improved
considering the advantages and disadvantages of traditional master-slave control and traditional peer control
a hybrid control method between master and slave control is proposed
which is based on the improved droop control. In this control two or more than two distributed generators(DGs)use improved droop control work as the master
the rest of DGs use constant power control work as the slave. Finally
a microgrid model for multi-droop hybrid control and one for traditional master-slave control are developed on the MATLAB/Simulink software. Simulation is made of the two kinds of microgrid on islanding
getting grid-connected
load shedding loading
and so on. Simulation results show that multi-droop hybrid control has better adaptability and stability compared with traditional master-slave control.
