distributed generators(DGs)with conventional active power-voltage magnitude droop controller cannot share active power in inverse proportion to their droop coefficients in the presence of impedance mismatch. A distributed power control strategy based on adaptive virtual impedance is proposed to solve this problem. The strategy effectively compensates the difference of the voltage drops caused by mismatched feeders
hence accurate power sharing can be realized. Based on consensus of multi-agent systems
the strategy utilizes a distributed control structure. Each DG unit only employs local and neighboring power information to adjust the adaptive virtual impedance
avoiding the requirement for system global information. The system requirement that the communication topology includes a spanning tree can be satisfied with a sparse communication network. Meanwhile
the impedance phase is adjusted according to the power factor angle
which improves system robustness. Simulation results validate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed strategy.
