In light of the influence of network reconfiguration on the state estimation of distribution system
a robust measurement placement method based on measurement saturation analysis is proposed. First
the operation probabilities of various network structures after fault reconfigurations are computed by the Markov chain. Then the probabilities are introduced as weights into the robust measurement placement model and the errors caused by the measurements are simulated using Monte Carlo algorithm. Simulation results of IEEE 33-bus and PG&E 69-bus distribution systems show that the robust method is suitable for different network structures
while significantly improving the precision of state estimation. This work is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China(No. 51177093).
