Microgrid and virtual power plant are two main methods of solving grid-integration of distributed generators. Wind and photovoltaic output uncertainties are described by typical scenarios with probability information produced by scenario generation and reduction techniques. Based on the cooperative game theory
a virtual power plant individual schedule model and a virtual power plant/distribution utility coordinated schedule model are developed to analyze cooperative room and profit allocation problems. The actual date of a demonstration project for distributed renewable energy generator and the load curves of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is used for case study. The results show that factors such as output prediction accuracy
load demand and reserve price have direct effects on the cooperative room and profit allocation. A quantitative analysis can be used by virtual power plants and the distribution utility for cooperative negotiation and capacity allocation.
