Against the background of energy saving and emission reduction
renewable generation
represented by distributed wind generator (DWG)
is developing rapidly. The joint probability distribution method is adopted to formulate the multi-scenarios with the time-sequential correlation between wind speed and load demand taken into account. Based on this
considering four active management measures including regulating the on-load tap changer
curtailing the output power of DWG
regulating the power factor of DWG
and demand-side management
a bi-level programming model is proposed for optimal siting and sizing of DWG under the active management mode. The minimization of annual total cost is taken as the objective of upper level
and the minimization of distribution network operation cost of each scenario is taken as the objective of lower level. A hybrid strategy combining the improved differential evolution algorithm and primal-dual interior point method is developed to solve the planning model. Case studies carried out on the IEEE 33-bus distribution system have verified the feasibility of the proposed model and the effectiveness of the developed solving method.
