Large-scale wind power integration has posed a great challenge for generation scheduling.A two-stage method for generation scheduling optimization with large-scale wind power integration is proposed. The minimum bias based security constrained economical dispatch model is used in this method. In stage one,the desired generation scheduling is obtained whose power balance constraint is not strictly guaranteed;in stage two, generation scheduling is optimized to close to the desired generation scheduling with various constraints fully considered. The executable generation scheduling is finally obtained by the two-stage dispatching.Analysis of actual system examples shows the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
