摘要

静止同步补偿器（STATCOM）因具有无功输出特性优良、响应速度快、占地面积小等优点，在电力系统中得到了越来越广泛的应用。基于链式多电平换流器和基于模块化多电平换流器（MMC）的STATCOM多电平主回路方案是目前输电系统用STATCOM中最有可能采用的两种方案。文中对这两种方案在设备构成、控制性能、接地方式和电网故障穿越能力等方面进行了对比分析，并得出了链式方案比MMC方案更适合应用于输电系统STATCOM的结论。

Abstract

Because of its excellent reactive power output characteristics，fast response and small footprint，static synchronous compensator（STATCOM）has been more and more widely used in power system.At present，cascade multilevel converter and modular multilevel converter（MMC）are the most possible solutions of STATCOM for transmission system.A contrast study of two schemes is conducted in terms of equipment constitutes，control performance，grounding method and fault ride-through capability，and a conclusion is obtained that cascade scheme is more suitable than MMC scheme for STATCOM used in transmission system.
