The effective control of grid-side converter(GSC) during unbalanced grid faults is important for grid-connected wind power generators capability. Along with the optimal selection of sequence components decomposition method, the control strategy of GSC is designed based on double dq currents regulation of positive sequence and negative sequence. In order to verify the proposed strategy and overcome the drawbacks of traditional pure digital simulation and physical experiment, one digital/physical hybrid simulation system of doubly-fed wind turbine generator is constructed by using real-time digital simulator(RTDS) and self-developed digital signal processor(DSP) controller. The digital/physical hybrid simulation of a 2 MW wind turbine generator verifies the control strategy and scheme.
