In the dynamic thermal rating(DTR) system frame, the electro-thermal coordination(ETC) procedure control decision model is proposed to treat the current overloading, aiming to make proper decision in the security corrective control after a transmission component outage. The thermal inertia property of transmission components is used to achieve the security corrective control with the help of procedure control concept. The conservativeness and/or aggressiveness caused by the empirical consideration of the thermal inertia can be weakened and the economical efficiency of corrective control is improved. Finally, a simulation is carried out in a simple power grid to verify the proposed model.
