Through analyzing the mathematical model of a grid-connected inverter, such conclusions can be drawn that the phase and amplitude of inverter output voltage can regulate active power and reactive power respectively. Accordingly, a novel grid-connected inverter control scheme based on indirect current control mode is proposed. In the scheme, active power loop and reactive power loop respectively regulate the frequency and amplitude of inverter output voltage with a phase-locked loop(PLL) locking the phase. In order to improve the phase regulating accuracy, a new frequency regulating algorithm is proposed. The validity of the scheme proposed is verified by simulation and experimental results.
