Grid video surveillance system is widely used in power grid construction， production， operating and management， et al. In order to make grid video surveillance systems constructed according to unified standards， the enterprise standard— Grid Video Surveillance System and Interface was issued by State Grid Corporation of China. The standard adopts advanced and mature technology， and can perfectly solve the key issues of gird video surveillance system， such as unified planning， interconnection， business integration. This paper first analyzes the actuality of grid video surveillance system and its limitations. Then the main contents and technical standards referenced， as well as the meanings of the standard are introduced.
