Currently, phase-shift control is generally used in a sole inverter, while the output power capability of the inverter is usually enhanced by parallel connection of multiple transistors or high-frequency transformers. This paper proposes a novel approach to control and regulate the inverter output power by controlling the phase-shift between multi-inverters, and meanwhile to enhance the inverter capacity through parallel connection of multi-phase LLC voltage-fed resonant inverters. The expressions of output current and power of each phase inverter and the expressions of load current and power efficiency are deduced. Moreover, the output active and reactive powers of each phase inverter and the load power are simulated and analyzed under different phase-shift of resonant inverters. Furthermore, a prototype of two-phase parallel connection of LLC voltage-fed resonant inverters is designed and validated. Simulation and experimental results certify that the approach proposed can effectively control, regulate and enhance the inverter power to simplify the power regulation procedure, reduce the switching power loss and improve the system efficiency.
