A novel injective type hybrid active power filter with double-resonance injection branch(DIHAPF) is proposed. The injection branch of DIHAPF consists of a fundamental series resonant circuit and a parallel resonant circuit. Compared with injective type hybrid active power filter with single-resonance injection branch(SIHAPF), the proposed system can avoid the reactive power overcompensation and guarantee the current injection ability at the same time. A universal electric model of injective type hybrid active power filter(IHAPF) suitable for high power grid is founded. Based on the analysis of the model, the parameter designing principle of injection branch is proposed. Furthermore, a novel PI control strategy based on improper integral preprocessing is proposed. The reference voltage signal is produced by improper integral preprocessing from the load current signal. Output voltage control is implemented instead of current tracking control. Experiment and simulation results show that the novel DIHAPF extends the voltage grade of IHAPF application, and the novel control method is easy to be realized.
