The redundant schemes of large turbine governor are discussed according to it's high reliability requirements. The redundant systems are mainly related to the frequency measurement， microcomputer regulator， electro-hydraulic transformer， displacement transducer， power supply system and etc. Redundant systems of each element are analyzed comprehensively， and the fully parataxis hot standby redundancy and cross-standby redundancy are compared. Redundant mode can be chosen according to different status of turbines in grid and the feasibility and necessity of realization. Elaborate further the configuration method of redundant schemes combining practical application.
