This paper presents the protection principles and algorithms for phase-to-phase fault， stator winding grounding fault， over-excitation and DC grounding fault of SFC during starting-up of gas turbine generator. The problems of setting value calculation for these protections are simply discussed. Simultaneously， this paper brings forwards the improvement measures for stator winding grounding protection and differential protection of main transformer during starting-up of gas turbine generator.
