A novel routine outage maintenance strategy is proposed. The optimization model for routine outage maintenance is established
minimizing the objectives of the cost of maintenance
the loss of gain from power selling
and the loss of over-reparation. The practicality of the new strategy is improved
since the data used in the mathematical model is supported by condition-based maintenance technology. The new strategy is evaluated by utilizing the probabilistic production simulation technique
with a comparison made with the time-based maintenance (TBM) strategy. Test results show that
in terms of both the economic index and reliability index
